ADOLF by D.H.LAWRENCE

A STORY FOR ANIMAL LOVERS!!

THIS story focuses on the importance of family. There is no difference in the emotions of animals or humans for their family.Father introduces the little rabbit to all the other family members. The kids atonce show concern and love towards the new member but mother is a little adamant in keeping it as many other animals which were earlier brought at home had died. The family members had developed a bond with them and shed tears on their death.Father told them that he had seen the little rabbit with its family members which were all dead so he brought it home as it was too small to take care of itself. The children tried to feed it but it didn't responded towards their gestures. The author has succeeded in portraying the emotions of little rabbit to the readers.

THE COMET by JAYANT NARLIKAR

The title of the story is itself fascinating. The comets had always been a topic of curiosity and discussions. The story makes us think about the different perceptions of human nature and thinking.Science deals with comets with a different angle whereas superstitious people weave a different story around them.Duttada's passion takes him to all the way to BRITISH ISLES but on the contrary his own wife and relatives are unaware of his actions.A wonderful science fiction story with a strong social message!
